A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Does Twilio have an API to get information about phone numbers?

Yes, Twilio provides our Lookup API for searching any phone number. Using the Lookup API, you can find the proper local and E.164 phone number formatting, carrier information, and a caller ID name lookup. For more details, including usage examples, see Getting Started with the Twilio Lookup API.
