A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Do US toll-free numbers work internationally?

Calls from outside US/Canada to US toll-free Twilio numbers may not route, depending on the originating carrier. If they do route, then the caller would likely need to pay international dialing charges, just like for any other call to a US local phone number. To ensure the reliability of your service we recommend providing an alternate US local Twilio number for international callers.

Outbound international calls from US toll-free Twilio numbers will route normally if international dialing permissions are enabled.
