A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Does Twilio Support Dialing International Phone Numbers?

Yes, Twilio does support international voice calls to many different countries.

International Calling Permissions

Before you are able to place international calls, you must first enable calling to the destination country via the Console Geo Permissions page.

For more information, please see our article International Voice Dialing Geographic Permissions (Geo Permissions) and How They Work.

How to Place International Calls

International calls are placed just like a normal call, with a REST API request. For help placing calls, please see our guide How to Make Outbound Phone Calls.

Be sure to use valid E.164 formatting for the destination phone number. For more information, please see Formatting International Phone Numbers.
