A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Can I port my toll-free number into Twilio to use for text messaging?

Yes! Once you’ve ported your toll-free phone number into Twilio it will be enabled for sending and receiving SMS messages as part of the porting process. You just have to configure your SMS request URL to get started. Go here to begin the porting process.

Please keep in mind that if you decide to port your toll-free number away from Twilio, your number may no longer be enabled for SMS messaging.
