A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: We are experiencing delays while vetting 10DLC campaigns. Our third party is reviewing campaigns manually, and due to the high volume of requests, a queue has built up. Campaign reviews are expected to take longer. Twilio is working with the provider to help expedite this process. New details will be shared in our incident report as soon they become available.

Does Twilio do anything with the metadata passed with digital pictures?

Digital pictures taken with smartphones often have metadata (i.e. date, time, geolocation) associated with the images. When MMS messages are sent using these types of images, the metadata is usually stripped from the picture by the sending carrier.

However, if the metadata is passed to Twilio by the sending carrier, we will preserve the information and pass it along to the intended recipient. Twilio does not modify or manipulate any metadata associated with pictures. If users need to modify or remove the metadata data from incoming images they will need to use a 3rd party service to do this.
