A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Migrating Twilio users with Authy App to a new system

This article applies to the internal workings of Twilio's 2FA service. The Authy app is not going away. We are committed to growing and supporting the Twilio Authy app as a consumer application.

As part of the upgrade of our 2FA service for Twilio Console, Twilio users that previously selected the Authy app as their 2FA method will have to re-enroll and add a new (TOTP based) Twilio token by scanning the QR code.

Note: If you don't see a QR code to scan, this means that you have previously scanned the QR code to set up Authy and no action is required. You can continue using Authy as your 2FA method. Please click "continue" and add the token generated by Authy app.

Depending on the device you are using, you can refer to the support article here on how to do it:

https://support.authy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006303934-Add-a-New-Two-Factor-Authentication-2FA-Account-Token-in-the-Authy-App

Note: The existing Authy token generator in the app will continue showing in the app until the migration process is completed. Meanwhile, you can hide the previous Authy token by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Authy app. Access the Settings menu through the gearbox icon.
