Starting on May 1, 2023, we will be lowering our tier pricing thresholds for SMS routes in the US and Canada. By lowering the tier pricing thresholds, more of our customers will begin to see a decrease in their incremental per message rate and will see immediate per message pricing benefits while growing their monthly SMS volume. These changes will be reflected on all sender types within the US and Canada, meaning that Toll-Free, A2P 10DLC, and Short Codes will have updated pricing per message. Please note that carrier fees are not impacted by this change.

Who is impacted by these pricing changes?

Notice: All customers who are locked into a fixed price within their active contract will not be impacted by these new pricing tiers and will not see changes in their per message rates.

Customers who will start to see changes to their pricing starting on May 1st consist of:

• Customers who are not under contract and rely on tiered volume discounts
• Customers who are under contract with list pricing or those who have a percent-off-list price structure in their contract. 
• Customers under contract with percent-off-list will leverage the lower tier pricing thresholds. The percent-off-list discount will be applied based on customer volume within the month.

New Pricing Tiers

If you are currently not locked-in to a fixed price within a contract, these prices will automatically be adjusted starting on May 1, 2023, meaning that there is no action required.
